GWA Cars and Finance

Going the extra mile...

New and used cars, finance and peace of mind.

It has been a glamorous couple of weeks at GWA Cars & Finance. Obviously, Youngie and I have been around as usual, but we’ve also had the Revival take place up the road and the Frankfurt Motor Show was good. All of which gives me the opportunity to mention a couple of our highlights from the latter.
I said I was looking forward to seeing the Jaguar E-Types again at Goodwood, but I was equally impressed by the new Jaguar that was unveiled in Frankfurt. The V6-powered Jaguar C-X16 Concept Car has something of its predecessor about it and, following the Jaguar C-X75 and Jaguar XKR-S, it certainly seems the manufacturer is getting back in the swing of designing good cars.
Certainly worth taking out a GWA Vehicle Protection Pack on this one, although you won’t see it on the forecourt for a few years. One you can see is a 2006 Jaguar XKR 4.2 V8 Coupe Auto, available for £28,995.
Away from all the concept cars and super cars, I couldn’t help noticing the new BMW Mini Coupé. Mini keeps playing with the body shape and here we have a sporty take on the traditional design with a roofline reminiscent of the Audi TT. Apparently the layout owes its sleek appearance in part to the 1966 Mini Marcos coupe.
We have our own feisty BMW Mini at GWA: a 2007 Mini Cooper S (Chilli Pack) Convertible for £12,999.
