GWA Cars and Finance

Going the extra mile...

New and used cars, finance and peace of mind.

There was lots of talk about the new Aston Martin Virage, the Maserati GranCarbio Sport and the Jaguar XKR-S in the run up to the Geneva Motor Show, but what the GWA Cars & Finance news desk and just about everyone else didn’t see coming was the show-stealing Alfa Romeo 4C.

OK, so it hasn’t got a V8 or V12 under the bonnet, but it is still very much a sports car and a sports car that’s not only beautiful and exciting, but affordable to us mere mortals. The £38,000 price tag is still a tidy sum, but far from the super-rich-only cost of new Astons, Maseratis and Ferraris.

This turbocharged 1.7 litre Alfa Romeo is only at the concept stage and it won’t reach showrooms until sometime next year, but if you fancy getting behind the wheel of an Alfa before then, we can source and provide the finance for any Romeo model.

Other new cars coming in under the radar in Geneva include two gems from Volkswagen: the new Microbus, or Bulli, and the new Golf Cabriolet. The former is an electric vehicle with a maximum range of 300km and a top speed of 87mph, while the latter is the first Golf cabriolet since the Mk IV Golf.

Talking of good-looking Volkswagens, a 2010, five-door Golf 1.6TDi 105 SE Manual (£14,995) and a new four-door Passat Saloon (from £264 per month) are available from the GWA Cars & Finance forecourt.
