I had planned to talk about the budget in this post, and maybe even the incredible feats of highway repair in Japan, but something else came up: GWA Cars & Finance has been crowned the Observer Series Motor Dealer of the Year for 2010.
We picked up our cherished gong at the awards ceremony at Fontwell Park last Friday – look out for pictures from the night in this week’s Chichester, Bognor Regis, Midhurst/Petworth and Littlehampton Observers and the Littlehampton Gazette – and it is now proudly on display at GWA Cars & Finance headquarters.
It’s great to receive recognition for all our hard work and I think it’s a well-deserved pat on the back for everyone at GWA Cars & Finance. The award means we’re a finalist at the Southern Business Awards later in the year, where we’ll go up against rivals from across the south east of England. I’m looking forward to that already.
So, to the latest from the award-winning GWA news desk (plenty of mileage in this I reckon, pardon the pun). The 1p drop in fuel duty is good news, but a larger cut would have been better. More on company car taxation, fuel benefit charges, etc. next time.
Check out this brand new addition to our forecourt: a 2009 BMW Mini One Graphite 1.4, available for £10,490, and this award-winning deal (see, told you) on a new Ford Mondeo 2.0TDCi Zetec: from £265 per month, finance available.
