As the Honda Jazz popped up in last week’s post as one of the most reliable cars on the road today, I thought it would be appropriate if the GWA Cars & Finance blog had a look at the brand new Honda Jazz 1.3 Hybrid HX.
The reviews that I’ve read make much of the fact that this Honda Jazz is the world’s first supermini powered by a petrol-electric hybrid engine. It looks smart, the emissions are low (meaning only 10% company car tax) and the savings on fuel costs are good. There’s also some interesting spec. These are all good reasons for investing and GWA can source the car and provide the finance.
We have a special deal on a compatriot of the Honda Jazz, the new Toyota Aygo 1.0 VVTi: available from £129 per month. We also have the new Peugeot 107 Urban from £115 per month.
It’s good to see the range of hybrid cars continue to grow and once we see more plug-in points and lower prices, I think the electric car revolution will really take off. When it comes to electric cars for business use (long distance or around town), the ability to charge up cars easily and affordably is vital. I would say that reassurance is just as important as performance in this case.
Interestingly, according to an article in the Sunday papers, hybrid cars are more environmentally friendly than purely electric cars, in this country at least, on the basis of overall CO2 emissions, including charging. The figures suggest there isn’t much difference, but maybe they mean hybrid will be king.
