It’s all about me this week. Well, all about Mii, the Seat Mii I should say. Last week I mentioned that things are hotting up in the baby SUV arena, but there’s plenty of heat at the supermini end of the market as well.
GWA Cars & Finance will be able to sell you a Seat Mii from early next year and the price is expected to be below £8,000. The Mii will take on the VW Up! and the Skoda CitiGo, among others, and I don’t think there will be much to choose from between these three models, thanks to their common design ancestry. From what I’ve seen so far, it seems that, with a sportier looking exterior, Seat is going for the younger market.
We can pre-order and arrange the car finance on any of these models, but if you can’t wait until 2012 for a city supermini, we have a 5-door Citroën C3 1.4 SX Automatic on the forecourt for £3,995. The C3 has just been named as one of the cheapest cars with no road tax by the Telegraph. We also have a special offer on a brand new Citroën C3, available from £172 per month.
It will be interesting to see the performance of the Skoda CitiGo– it is due to arrive in the UK next summer in three and five door forms – as it marks the Czech manufacturer’s entry into supermini territory for the first time. Given Skoda’s reputation for efficiency and reliability, the CitiGo is likely to give its rivals a run for their money, as prices look set to start from around £7,000.
