  1. Citroen Berlingo – 6 e-HDi 90 EGT6 Airdream

MPG: 62.8

  1. Vauxhall Combo – 3CDTi 90 Ecoflex

MPG: 58.9
While the sister van, the Fiat Doblo, was facelifted for 2015 and received new Ecojet engines, Vauxhall decided to keep with the old design engines. As a result, the fuel economy falls short of its younger sibling but the small 1.3-litre still manages a respectable 58.9mpg.

With fuel saving technology continuing to evolve and a steady price at the pumps, our top 5 vans will stand you in good stead as an economical alternative for your business.
